Mackenzie’s Story

As soon as Mackenzie began the therapy, we began to see a difference. Mackenzie even commented one time, that she used to see ‘white’ when she tried to read, now she could see the words. Mackenzie does not need to wear glasses for her vision and she has no difficulty with writing, ‘d’, ‘b’, ‘g’, ‘q’, and ‘p’. She reads well and makes A’s in spelling, reading and math.

Steven’s Story

I had vision therapy appointments once a week my senior year of high school supplemented by home activities and I finally started to notice changes at the end of my senior year. Ryan’s Story

We started working with Dr. Bauernfiend when Ryan was in the second grade and after about a month we noticed his Dibels scores were going up and his spelling words were getting easier for him. He could read a passage and tell you what happened in it. He is now in the fourth grade. We no longer panic over spelling words each week or having to remember the story. He is able to sit down and learn them like everybody else.
